New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I've got a 12.5 Lilja. No complaints at all. From all the research I did, I don't remember seeing 5.56, 300 blackout or 6.8 being much better if any at the ranges those calibers excel at. To me, 6.5 Grendel SBR is better than a jack of all trades.... it's almost a master of all.
I have a DTA SRS and it'll hold groups 1/2 MOA like any other high end non interchangeable barrel bolt action. I shoot 223, 6.5x47, 308, 300 win mag and 338 lapua through mine. All are very repeatable. I had an AIAT which shot 1/2 MOA as well. Based on that and what everyone else has said the AI...
Heaviest bullet you can find like 175-220 grain with 9-12 grains trail boss. Start high and work down. That 1-8 twist 16" DTA should let you stabilize the 220s.
So if i'm understanding this correctly and for everyone elses knowledge. The peel washer isn't thick enough to equal at least 1 revolution on a M18 x 1.5 thread which means there's a possibility that a single peel washer at any thickness will not index the muzzle brake.
Might be easier and cheaper to buy the parts and assemble yourself or even get a gunsmith to do it if you'd rather not. Not many options if any for a 12" +/- 1" on a 308 upper. Do you have a SBR lower or making a pistol?
I assume the ATN Night Arrow 4x WPT Gen 2 + are the Russian version with low numbers? Somehow ATN markets it as 60-74 LP. Any thoughts on this ATN Night Arrow 4x WPT? I'm able to buy one from someone locally for under $1k. I've looked through it and it looks great (not much NV experience but...
Between the two scopes you have I'd go with the SWFA based on the mag power. IMO 6x is to high on the minimum mag range if you want the rifle to do everything such as close range shots in PRS or for hunting. I'd also look at the bushnell 3.5-21 DMR or if you can spend a little more the ERS...
Just what I've read but the 1-6 has some weird flickering issue with the dot when your eye isn't perfectly in the eyebox. On the 3-18 the turrets that are tall, "B", where you have to unlock every time to turn are able to be rotated .1 mils either way due to their mushiness. Apparently the newer...
Hi everyone. I had the same username from the scout website. I was in Fort Worth TX hence the screen name but I'm now in Austin.
