    The scope doesn’t have marks on the reticle it only has one crosshair so your point is moot.

    I can get it on paper at 25 just by looking down the barrel and moving the scope to get close move it out to 100 that’s not a problem I just don’t want to waste a bunch of ammunition even if they are hand loads they still cost money and time to load. I’ll make a chart in 50yd increments stick...

    Cause I was in a hurry out of state on a hunt and didn’t notice it. Had to have a scope after mine was torn up on the plane. Gun was beat up too. Wound up using the guides gun…It’s a Leupold part #175834. 3-15X56 super bright but limited use of the elevation knob. Took it out of the box today...

    No I need Inches or fraction of an inch. I think on click will give me .36" of elevation but i am not sure.

    If my scope says 1cm @ 1000m how much (in decimal inches) is that at 100yds? .36"? Dang Leupold scope I bought is in CM not MOA uggg!

    A nice handy sized 7mm-08 (20" bbl) will kill anything in North America at reasonable hunting distances.

    Carbon six barrels any good?

    I see a lot of Carbon six barrels being bought and sold on here. I am wanting to re barrel a Bolt gun with one in 7MM-08, 20" for a can for use in a blind and truck. Are they any good? I expect .5 MOA or better

    So you are saying im off to a good start with my 1/2" 100 yd 8 shot group? I bought a CMC drop in trigger its no Bix N Andy like my bolt guns have but it aint bad. it was $169

    New to the AR world

    I already changed that. Put a 3# Single stage In it. Vast improvement over the 7# stock trigger. Wanted a lighter one but the guy at the gun shop said that was all he had and anything lighter could be dangerous in the way of going full auto on accident. Not sure if he’s FOS on that or not.

    New to the AR world

    I reply to the dirty brass I picked up a Redding taper crimp die and put a little taper crimp on my last batch and will take the Magneatospeed with me this time to check FPS, ES and SD. Will also see if that helps any on accuracy and “soot” on the brass.
