    I'm not seeing the nut you are speaking of? Those rail sections are for the AX style that has an AR type barrel cover. I have one of those on a .300 wm. But can't put that type onto this.

    I purchased an original 2.0 for a 6.5 creedmoor Short Action Customs build, and the seller had packaged it with an Atlas Bipod with a Spigot mount. The side to side movement of the rifle from play in the spigot mount just isn't to my liking. I see tons of photos of AICS with Harris bipods...
