    Which rear bag

80% of the time I use the original. I have one from the first run, it still works great. https://triadtactical.com/red-tac-gear-rear-bag/ The rest of the time it’s typically a gamechanger or a Wiebad.

    Maggie’s Unclaimed Property

Years ago I paid by check at a bowling alley, and the cashier plugged my name into www.missingmoney.com and told me I was on their site. Sure enough, it was legit and I got the money.

Ruger rpr with small primers, anyone having problems?

Chad Dixon at LRI just bushed the bolt on a .223 RPR for a buddy, fast turnaround and looks factory.

Rifle Scopes scope cant with badger riser 22 MOA?

I’ve used one on a bolt gun with no issues as well.

    28" barrel hindrance?

Ghost Dancer, if I remember correctly? I remember when it was new, I read all your updates and ended up with a .260 of my own.

    28" barrel hindrance?

I just replaced the 24” 6SLR barrel on my Badger action with a 28” 6 Creed barrel. Looks funny, but I don’t foresee any issues. It has a mount for a 9” SAS Arbiter, but I probably won’t compete with it suppressed.

    Suppressor brake adapter timing question

It doesn’t hurt anything. I’ve done it on barrels that would always be suppressed, like a .300 Blackout SBR under a long handguard. Edit- reading your question again, yes it can cause a shift, but any change of a brake or suppressor can cause a shift. Switch brands of brake, and you can have a...

    Gunsmithing What were they thinking?

How about a .875 gas block on a .750 barrel, with long set screws to hold it against the gas port? This was on a duty gun no less, brought in for unrelated work.

    Form 1 question

It sounds like he may have done it right. Are you sure your stamp is on a Form 1, not a Form 4?

    Form 1 question

If he only did a Form 1, and it’s in his company’s name, then it should still be listed in his books as property of his company, and the ATF will expect him to have it if they audit him. If he built it using his company name, he should have done a Form 1 when he built it, which is free with...

    Post your funniest range story...

A number of years ago, a bunch of us ‘serious shooters’ were on a private 1000 yard range. At the beginning, the landowner reminded us that deer season was in, and anything was fair game. Hours and hundreds of rounds later, a very nice 8 point suddenly burst out around 450 yards out. I was on a...

    Show me your McMillan’s

This one wasn’t at all what I expected, but I really like it. I ordered the standard 50% OD, 25% tan, 25% black, but this turned out a lot better imo.

Suppressors Precision rifle - direct thread vs. 3-lug

Direct attach or a TOMB type attachment is what you need; 3 lug won’t give the accuracy you need. Look at Suppressed Armament and Thunderbeast cans, and the Area 419 mounts. They and a number of others use a fine thread to pull the can onto a taper.

Suppressors Alternate to TBAC for precision rifle shooting?

I’ve had great results with an SAS Arbiter in this role. They’ve been around longer than most in this thread, and I have one of their early cans. I still have people ask me what can I have and compliment it’s effectiveness. I have a number of cans but not a TBAC, but lots of friends have them...

Please educate me regarding ROI on tier 1 rifles

If you’re mid-pack, the difference between a decent gun and a high end gun probably won’t change your placement at all. If you’re near the front, small advantages can make a difference. I once won a match by less than a half second across the entire match, any hangup or fighting with my gear...
