    6.5 Creedmoor

Well, that was my goal. I think I first started seeing tuners in about 2016. I spent 2 years shooting UBR (short range benchrest) with a 6ppc. I learned a lot from those guys. My gun did not have a tuner but I've been intrigued by them since. I saw the EC tuner/brake and thought that was...

    6.5 Creedmoor

This is almost exactly what I just did. I wanted to shoot the 140 eld for a better BC. At the same time, I wanted to try out a tuner. I bought a EC Tuner brake and did all of the load development with the tuner set to zero. Once I had my charge and seating depth data, I started playing with...

    6.5 Creedmoor

For what it is worth, my 140 bthp load is 42.1 & my 140 eld load is 41.1. Just watch for pressure signs. I look for velocity flat spots between charges when developing. Usually 2 maybe 3 rounds of each charge weight & on 6.5cm, my first test is 0.3gr increments (I refine after down to 0.1)...

    Firearms Meredith Custom 243 FS/FT

Guys, we have our own mill & lathe now. This fine Meredith Custom just isn't getting shot. Just need to be shooting our own builds now since we invested the money to get a shop. I would be interested in selling outright or partial trades of interest. Off the top of my head, Vortex Razor or Viper...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Man, I hate to say. I honestly don't "really " measure off the lands. I do the Eric Cortina style. I loaded a round and kept seating in deeper until bolt close was what I wanted (smooth). Then used his method on seating depth tuning (and then used his tuner brake as well). As far as a...

    6.5 Creedmoor

I have had good luck with the Hornady 140 bthp bullet and great results so far with the 140 eld. As a side note, the Hornady American Gunner loaded ammo does pretty good. I bought it for the brass really but it is good ammo especially 500 yards and in.

    6.5cm Bullet question

Sir, I just prefer to not publish that info on the interweb. I should have caught it earlier, that's on me. Once I switched to Bartlein, everything started working and making sense. The problem with the other barrel was that nothing made sense, one day this bullet would do good the next it...

    6.5cm Bullet question

Well, I forgot about this thread. Got really frustrated with the 6.5, bought a motorcycle, played with it, sold it, bought another motorcycle, and yeah...I chase chickens & squirrels. So, after 700 rounds of testing and crap, I think I had a bad barrel. I know, sounds like an excuse but we...
