    Made in USA movement!

This is a company doing America first casual clothing. Everything is sourced from American producers, starting with the cotton and synthetics they use, made into fabric here, cut and sewn here. Was founded by a guy who wanted to make clothing as durable as his grandfather's sweatshirts, which...

Triad Rifle Case vs Armegedon Gear Precision Rifle Case

These are the best drag and carrying bags being made currently, and reasonably priced. Customer support has been excellent. They have a Canadian distributor, but none in the US, so don't seem to have much reputation here. https://www.aim-fieldsports.com/product-category/dragbags/

A question of recoil, where the rifle ends up?

As others have said, could be a variety of things. You might consider: Trigger press is not straight back, you are torquing the rifle when firing. This will be more problematic with a heavier recoiling caliber such as a .308. This is way more common than you might imagine. Grip could be...

    Side charging uppers?

Have only owned JP side charging uppers, which are exceptional. Fit and finish pretty hard to beat, but they are... hmmm... proud of their work, as the prices suggest. If you can look past the cost, no reason to look elsewhere.

    Cleaning 22 trainer

I drag a bore snake with BoreTech carbon cleaner through it every one thousand rounds or so, do that 3-4 times then a couple of times dry. Clean the bolt, raceways, breech face thoroughly then as well, using a Tipton chamber tool that holds a dental absorbent mop (3/8" diameter x 1.25" inch or...

Ruger precision Rimfire progress or lost hope

Or, you could spend $2.50 on the O rings and see if they work.... As I say, you believe you can or you believe you can't, and you will be right either way.

Ruger precision Rimfire progress or lost hope

Hmmm. Suggest you consider the post, try it, and report back. The major problem with .22.r ammo is inconsistent ignition. On a calm day, no reason you shouldn't see sub MOA groups, and pretty routine to see .5-.75 MOA groups with good ammo and proper tuning. Have a look at the accurate...

Ruger precision Rimfire progress or lost hope

One thing you might consider, not a joke. Benchrest small bore shooters use tuners to adjust the harmonics on their rigs to suit the ammo lots they have bought. If you don't know about tuners, check this out: http://harrellsprec.com/index.php/products/harrell-rimfire-tuners-403 I am not...

AR-15 accuracy at 50 yards - with Trijicon MRO

You may find that a 77gr round performs better. I have a Troy upper and a JP upper, both 16 inch, and they both prefer the heavier bullet. My experience with a red dot and 55gr commercial ammo pretty similar to yours.

    Driving gas guns

One thing you might consider is to use your cell phone camera to do a video of yourself shooting. I can't add anything to the great suggestions you are getting in this thread, and many of the behaviors in them (Precision Underground in particular) have as much to do with your mental process as...

Thank you, and that is a good point about practice.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Recommend a Knife Sharpening Kit

Was over in the Semi Auto forum and thought: what if I click on New Posts? and it led me to this thread. You guys are a hell of a lot more entertaining than, say, the 6.5 Grendel posters, just sayin'. Here's a legit question. Found my way to this set, which looked like a decent deal...

    BUIS alternatives

Following up on this suggestion. I bought the Diamondhead mounts, put them on and for the first time can consistently shoot inside 2 inches at 100 yards with irons. The diamond shapes front and back let the shooter index the front post consistently, vertically and horizontally, unlike a round...

    BUIS alternatives

Thank you. Just ordered them. Had never heard of the company, which is part of the reason for the original post. . Appreciate everyone pitching in with suggestions.

    BUIS alternatives

That is an interesting design. Do you find that the diamond shape in the rear sight improves your ability to capture/position the front post consistently?

    BUIS alternatives

Sam4886, those are awesome. When zeroing the front post, do you just bend one knuckle at a time until you get it right? Tell me these are actually available somewhere.

Thank you all, researching and will report back. A friend mentioned Bobro, looking at that as well.

    BUIS alternatives

Am trying to find a set of low profile BUIS for a JP AR15 upper that is running a Trijicon MRO. There are seemingly 10 million providers of BUIS, so am posting here to ask for any recommendations based on your experience using them. Do not need offset mounts, just want them straight up on the...

    JP LRP-07 Accuracy Issue

I have the exact configuration you own, and shooting the Eagle Eye 175 gr ammunition the rifle shoots .5 MOA all day. That said, it is a light rifle with a big round and you are going to have to shoot with good fundamentals to get it to perform. My first time out with it was all I could do to...

Rifle Scopes Advice on 3X magnifier for AR15

That is exactly why I asked the question. I see the magnifiers on rigs, but it hasn't been obvious to me why guys use them. The Kahles is a really nicely designed scope, could be I just need to be better operating with it. The match I was thinking of was not a proper 3 gun match, was 2 gun...
