    Issues with Redding seater die

    that is odd. Do you have another seater to try? I am with Kadams. The seater usually leaves a circular Ring on the nose of the bullet. It normally does not touch the sides. Does this occur with every round loaded? Have you tried a different brand bullet?

    +1 on the forster. I think the Redding and the Forster are a cut above the rest. The Forster is a little easier to see the marks on the die.

    Noticed that the AR10 bolt will re-headspace a cartridge.

    out of curiosity if you reinsert a case that has already been pushed back by the force of closing the bolt does it keep reducing the headspace? If not you may want to load your rounds to that headspace.
