New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I am looking for an excellent condition Aimpoint T1 4 MOA dot. The 4 MOA versions aren’t marked as such which is how you know they aren’t the newer 2 MOA version. The 2 MOA versions have it marked on the housing.
Not the best image, but I have a SPUHR mount -> side picatinny -> 45deg offset picatinny -> red dot mount. Little clugy, but it puts the dot in the next best place besides 12 o’clock. I use the Trijicon triangle reticle so I can align it with the tip which is more precise than a huge dot at range.
This is why I started putting red dots on my precision rifles, so I can range without dialing back to zero. Learned this trick from a buddy and it is a game changer. Especially when you have over a revolution of elevation in.
Up for sale is a Flir Breach PTQ 136. It only has a couple batteries through it, and comes with everything from the factory including hard case (as shown). The mount has some marks on it from a K-Plate.
$1,700
Up for sale is a brand new and still sealed in package Accuracy International thumbhole upgrade kit for a folding AT chassis is Pale Brown 26723PB.

I haven’t had a chance to look through it at any distance yet. March did include a note that stated I should expect some compromises at the high end in order to enable a 10x erector system.
Mine came back as well. Definitely a significant improvement, but now the dots are almost too big, lol. But it makes them very useable at lower mags so I am actually happy with it. Ignore the focus on the images, hand holding my cell phone.

As others have mentioned this is not too surprising, but totally depends on your setup. Can you provide:
Day scope and mag
Clip on
Height of each
Cant of each
Target used
On paper the ATACR has the biggest eye box, but I find it like looking through a toilet paper roll (it tunnels bad). The distortion at the edge of the vortex is the compromise for such a huge image. I would take that any day as the scope body just disappears.
They all have pretty much the same eye relief. Whenever I see a LPVO not mounted as far forward as possible, they either don’t shoot prone, or have to adjust their stock all the way out first. In your case your LOP is on the lower side for an LPVO, so not surprising you need a little more to...
