    6.5 Hornady American Gunner

I use it for 600 yard and in plinking and as a consistent source of brass. Its relativity consistent but the mv is slow.

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

The barrel life of the 6.5 is a nice benefit, the only other benefit is factory ammo, but if you are reloading then that doesn't really matter. I think for your use case it really does come down to personal preference as you indicated.

Fix It Sticks - kit worth it?

I have the older kit with the different sizes of limiters and bits and then added in a few wiha extended bits. If I were looking now I would get the newer all in one kit that they have for $115 and add the specific bits my guns need from wiha. Either way I love my fix it sticks kit.

Rifle Scopes Arken EP4 for 22lr?

Their website says 10 yards for the SH4 and 25 yards for both the EP4 models. I am waiting on a EP4 for NRL22 currently so hope that is accurate.

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I have a dedicated case for each rifle that houses the rifle specific items (mags, sling, bipod etc) and then a rolling bag that goes to the range no matter what gun I am shooting. That houses the universal items like ear and eye pro,fix it sticks tool kit, cleaning tools, note pad, Kestrel...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I had been meaning to post this for a while... Got the AD Arms cocking piece installed and put a few hundred rounds through the RPR with it. One of the things I disliked most about the RPR was the heavy bolt throw. While this does not make the bolt throw feather light, it is noticeably improved.

    Shooting Tripod

Running the pig311 and really like it for the price. If price is more important than weight, i think it's a good way to go.

    Review: Magpul MAG941 bipod

Looks like he beat me to it. Its a great setup and I like being able to use the bipod on rifles with pic rails or arca rails. Here is a picture on the bottom of mt RPR with RRS ARCA Rail

    Review: Magpul MAG941 bipod

If I understand the question correctly, then yes I would bet the MLOK version mounts fine to an MLOK handguard but have not personally tried the MLOK version. Personally, even though almost all my rifles have MLOK handguars, I run either a pic rail or ARCA rail on the bottom. I like doing it...

    Review: Magpul MAG941 bipod

I have been running one with the RRS pic/Arca dual mount for a few months now. I think that for the money, there is really no other choice. I agree with all of the feedback Kickin has in his original review. If you need a bipod and don't want to spend $4XX+ then this is a great option and is...

Sig Sauer - KILO3000 BDX LASER RANGEFINDING BINOCULARS

Important question first... there are fish in there, they are likely hiding in said bricks. As for the Butler Creek caps, they are 33940, and they fit perfect. I measured with calipers prior to ordering and it looked like they might fit loose, but in actuality I wouldn't want them any tighter.

Sig Sauer - KILO3000 BDX LASER RANGEFINDING BINOCULARS

Got some much need accessories today.. detachable neck strap, Vortex tripod adapter, butler creek caps. JeremyV is sending out an ocular cover and a new case will be here soon too. Excited to get some more time out in the field with them, but was watching big horn sheep in Anza Borrego last...

Lyman All American 8 turret press. Anyone using it for precision work?

Glad someone started this thread, I too have been eyeballing one of these. Most references to turret presses say they can't be used for precision loads, but don't address this Lyman particularly. I am not going for bench rest, just want a simple way to leave all the dies in and set and maybe do...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I have been toying with trying a rifle in 300prc, excited to see how the new prc rifles shoot. Likely they will be like all the other RPRs and shoot great. Glad to see someone paying attention to the details as well like the Arca Swiss rail integrated in the hand guard.
