Question about loads for M1A vs Dpms SASS
Sounds like not enough gas to cycle the bolt. I am no expert but I would think opening up the gas port a touch would let you run the loads you want. You could always open up the port and then run an adjustable has block, seems to be the way to go on the di .308 guns.- thegrayham

I went and bought a nice .17 hmr bolt gun just because the ammo is widely available and I cant find much else to shoot in my guns.
