New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
1. MPA BA hybrid chassis, black with upgraded grip and bag rider. Got this as part of rifle from the forums but since I don't compete, I went with a simpler XLR on my rifle. $725
2. Geissele SSA trigger, new in box. snagged a SSA-E soon after getting the SSA and only need one of these. $175...
Anyone hear about any updates? Last time I emailed, Scott said they were working on a model with a shorter foreend and compatibility without Kidd rear tangs.
thanks for the review! Mind if I ask what length barrel is in the pictures? Also, when trying out the kidd receiver, did it look like the chassis would have space to accommodate a kidd rear tang?
thanks for the clarification Mark! That's great to hear the glass quality is the same in the two series, but I think I prefer the reticle in the XTR II!
Was wondering if the specs on the 2-10x42 are correct and did anyone get a look through this model at shot? Says it has a 4.2ft field of view at 10x which seems awfully small compared to their veracity 2-10x42 or other fixed 10x models. Typo perhaps?
Burris 2-10x42 XTR II 34mm Rifle Scope
Hey all, new here but I was wondering what are your thoughts on either a SWFA 1-6 or a combination of a SWFA 6x fixed scope with something like a Burris red dot reflex sight? This is for an AR10 set up that I am hoping to use between 25-300yds (I have bad eyes so prefer 6x over 4x/3.5x stuff)...
Sorta a followup on Svendogg's question. How about a 308 from the AICS 300WM? If the lips can be modified for the 30-06, the 308 seems like it should work but does the length create feeding issues?
