Red dot or LPVO on 16” 308
I run a vortex 1 - 8 on my 16" .308. Usually using 168 SMK or TMK. This has become a real multi purpose gun, from longer range pigs and coyotes to range fun. I also have a .223 in almost the same spec as well- tk427

Painting over Cerakote
Key the surface/rub back with 600 followed by 800 grit wet and dry. This will key the surface yet be smooth enough to allow for a good finish with your chosen paint Eventually you will endure some chipping/show through but with some patience you could work back most of the cerekote- tk427

Laser Safety through Spotting Scope
If the laser is eye safe - LRF must be as you view them through the organic eye piece - then the spotter is magnifying the returned “image” or intensity NOT power (ie energy).
