    First time I ever saw a guy shoot at a mile it was a 7WSSM. I think he was shooting 180 Bergers. He was hitting a 12 inch plate a lot more than he was missing it.

    I should have put that in my post. I have been pointing the newer lots and it has helped get the BC back up. I haven't been shooting much over the past few months, but I'm about ready to start up again. I'll post BC numbers from pointed bullets with some pics when I can.

    There has been some inconsistency in how the meplats have been closed on the three lots I have shot. The first lot were closed very tight, the other two were more open. It affected the BC in the my testing. .620 for the first lot, .590-.600 on the other two.

    Since nobody mentioned it... 95% of the shooters at whichever match you decide to attend will be using scopes with mil reticles and mil turrets. You will hear them calling out corrections for each other, but it won't mean much to you if you are using MOA. just my .02

    I also think we had an excessive headspace issue. The shoulder on the barrel has been set back 7 thousandths. Previously the bolt would close on a no-go gauge, now it will not.

    I think I had the same FB on one of my 6 Creed barrels. It's short, but it works. I was using 42.1 grains of H4350 with that barrel, and speed was good.

    308 semi auto suppressed issues

    I've run a suppressed 16" REPR for 5 years and never had any problems. I'm not sure how many rounds the rifle has on it, but it is over 3,000. Most of them factory Black Hills and FGMM, but it has a bunch of 175 SMKs over 44 grains of Varget as well. What kind of ammo are you feeding these rifles?
