    Just got an email for EuroOptic that mine is finally on it's way! From the sound of it, they do not believe that there will be any more Terrapins to be had, but time will tell, I guess. I can't wait to try mine out!

    Suppressors suppressor for 338LM

    I shoot my old Stainless Titan without ear pro as long as I am not under an awning or something. Out in the open it is hearing safe. I have done 50-60 shots in an outing with no problems. It's quieter than an LWRC REPR with a 762 SDN-6 and a 5.56 with a Mini-4.

    338 lapua to a mile. dope?

    Most scopes have plenty of elevation for a mile. You will need at least a 20 MOA base if you are using some of the scopes with less elevation. 17.5 mils gets me to a mile at sea level. 300 OTM AT 2740 FPS.

    My Silencerco Osprey and FNP45 combo is very quiet and I have yet to have a malfunction of any kind. It has been a blast to shoot.

    Load development in a Box

    I have been thinking about doing this for years. I guess I need to haul off and just do it. The only thing that concerns me is that it's windy as hell most of the time where I live. I don't know how I would get a scale to act right unless I put it in some sort of box. -J

    QuickLoad QL - need load for 338 Lap

    QL is not very accurate without your OWN H2O capacity info. That being said, work up to ~94 grains and you should be OK. -J

    Picking up Savage 110 FCP in 338 Lapua

    The BA is .900 at the muzzle and the FCP is .845. I would have to take the actions out of the stocks to get the measurement at the barrel nut, but I know the BA is bigger there as well. I am just starting load development for the FCP. I will let you know how it goes. -J

    I have both. Besides the obviously different stock, the BA has a heavier profile barrel. I'm not sure if they use the same reamer, but my load in the BA is 92 grains of Retumbo under the 300 OTM. That shoots .3 MOA in the BA and about 1.5 MOA in the FCP. It is also over 100 FPS slower in the...

    How much material do you remove from Lake City primer crimps?

    I did 2100 pieces of range brass a couple months ago with the Hornady. I chucked it up in my cordless drill and went to work. I don't think you can go too far with it, but I had to go back and re-do all the Speer brass because it has a monster crimp on it. The Hornady is GTG. -J

    Did some testing of a solid today... @ 1k.

    That's pretty outstanding and the price isn't bad either. I guess if you are going this route, you may as well do an .338 LM AI. That would have to mean close to 3,300 FPS. If you're going to be a bear... be a grizzly, eh?
