Re: How many rounds do you shoot a year?
Pistol 12,000 rounds
Rifle 4,000 rounds
I have a feeling that Pistol rounds will go down and rifle rounds up this year.
Only record precision rifle rounds.
Re: M&P Compact
I have always been a huge fan of the G19. I've owned both the G19 and G26 at the same time and thought that it was a great system.
I've also got the M&P9c which has taken the place of my G19 as my go to gun. The biggest weakness is the M&P's not so great trigger. All of the...
Re: best outside the waist belt holster for 1911
Alessi CQC holster for my Ed Brown. Works great and the ability to remove the holster from my belt without taking off the belt is a big bonus!
Fit and finish are excellent, couldn't be happier!
Re: bell & carlson vs mcmillan
I've got both a B&C on my Savage 10 and a McMillian on my Gap Hospitaller. I like them both, but McMillan's quality is far superior... so is the price tag.
Re: benchmade or microtech?

Re: Issues with my Savage 10FP
I have a SSS trigger that I had installed with some other work I had done. I love the trigger and plan on getting another.
I know others have had bad experiences with their CS, but I thought it was fine and loved the work.
Re: Atlas Bipod

Re: Ed Brown Special Forces - Gift from the GF
Great looking Brown. I've got a special forces without the rail and I love it. Fit and finish are flawless and she is a shooter!
Re: VooDoo or Tac Force Stryker Drag Bag?????
I've got a new Tac Force drag bag that I picked up for $100 shipped. I'm very happy with it for the money. I haven't used it enough to vouch for the durability, but it should work fine as a range bag.

+1 nicely done. I appreciate how objective you came across...
Re: Who really ranges stuff?
I agree with the OP. I've wondered the same thing myself many times. Why range with a reticle when LRFs are so plentiful and getting cheaper/better all the time?
One advantage that comes to mind is that you can't always get a correct reading with the LRFs if line...
