    My razorback is 2.375" I think. I use 50 Alaska dies. Sounds like your a little closer to 50 Alaskan. I mostly shoot 500gr cast bullets from it. NOE has a 850gr mold I keep thinking about but for as much as I play with it the 500gr lee 50-70 bullet is good enough.

    I have a 50 razorback in the safe. It's a 300 RUM cut off at the shoulder and a .510 shoved in. Trail boss is an easy solution for subs. H322 for super. Here it is next to a 6.5SS

    I have a 6.5SS also and have killed lots of stuff with it shooting 122gr solids at 3400fps. I'd still build a 300wsm first for hunting.

    300wsm fan boy. First time I hit a mile was with a 300wsm shooting the same rifle and load I shot an elk a couple weeks later with at a bit over 500.....with the old melty tipped 208gr Amax.

    Do you use ear pro when running a can with supersonic ammo?

    I usually double up with plugs and muffs on the range even when shooting suppressed. Suppressed 22 and hunting suppressed is about the only time I won't have ear pro on. I had a 9mm AR carbine go off out a battery when I was shooting suppressed and didn't have ear pro on it was really painful...

    There is a Winchester highwall at the local gun shop in 38-55 serial number is from 1900 and its a New Haven barrel. Also considering a C Sharps highwall. I have a bunch of muzzleloaders and don't mind cleaning just part of it. I definitely need to budget more time when I get black powder out.

    Smokeless muzzleloader shot a good sized cow elk this morning at 340(ish) yards. I got a range than she moved up hill while I was dialing. One shot and she fell over before the echo was done. Same 300gr fury bullet at 2650fps as the deer and antelope earlier in the year. Tagged out for the year.

    67 gr of imr4198 with a 300gr Fury bullet. That's as high as I have tested so far. First group at 400 yards was 2" so I went with it for the season. Trajectory is pretty great for hunting though 1" high at 100 is 1" low at 200, 3.5moa at 300, 7moa at 400
