    338 Lapua Improved?????

I agree Sierra makes a fine bullet. As does Berger and Hornady. If Turbo 54 means why not use Copper solids. I don't use them because if I do. Ten rifles using them at 1000 rounds a piece that equals $5,000.

    Gunsmithing Lathe alignment issue.

I have a Grizzly G4003 Gunsmithing lathe. And my question is how do you check alignment between the headstock and tailstock. Also how do you check to make sure it is properly square in all ways. I have built three rifles on it now and there doesn't seem to be any real issues. But as I become...

Rugers are great rifles. That American was way easy to build not sure how m77 is to do.

    375 tactical long range

CNC blue printed Remington action. 27" Brux barrel. Cheap Laminate stock. Used a standard 375 ruger reamer. I over polished the chamber a little not much. And added .400" free bore.

    Gunsmithing Ruger American

Just finished building a 6.5 x 284 on a Ruger American rifle. Very easy build and shoots .3 MOA. I would recommend this rifle to anyone for a build. On another note. I found the action to be more heavy duty than a Remington.

    375 tactical long range

Well I finished the 375 Hammer. With 85 grs of 4831SC I got 2590 fps. In the initial tests. No pressure signs. I am going to switch to IMR 7828 SSC it should get me to 2700 FPS mark with a 350 SMK. The rifle was shooting .6 Moa right off the lathe. I will figure it out and dial it in a little...

    Suppressors What supressor to buy???

I am wondering what suppressor I should get for my 338 lapua Imp. I currently have a thunder beast 30p1. But not wanting to spend 1800$ for their 338 suppressor. Any suggestions and also how hard is and NFA to set up. And is it worth it?. One more thing if possible I would like to be able to use...

    375 tactical long range

Thats seems fairly slow. Im getting 3130 with 250 grain Hornady's. To be fair 3050 if dont want to resize after I load bullets

    Gunsmithing New to Gunsmithing

The action was CNC blueprinted. Threads, face, scope base holes, recoil lugs. Pretty much everything is trued up to bore centerline. Chad Dixson of Long Rifles, Inc. did that work for me. He does group buys on here. It shoots 1/4 moa when im driving it right

    375 tactical long range

Will do when im all done wjm308. And as for the demon load density. Very compressed and have had to run some of the loaded rounds back through the resizer die with the guts out of it. No pressure signs though. I have found that 90 grains and about 3025 fps to be allot easier to reload.

    Gunsmithing New to Gunsmithing

Had some feeding issue. But we milled the front rib out of the mag and tweaked it a bit. Now it feeds ok. Still needs some polishing on the m16 extractor. Its very tight.
