    It all depends on what you want to do - and the answer will vary from person to person. I'm in the process of building a Mk12'ish clone and plan to go with the ATACR 4-16x42. I have a DMR rig that I use for PRS and it has a NF 3.5-15 F1 (I agree with you on the preference for first focal)...

    Here is a video Ray put together showing the suppression levels of their Ultra line (5, 7, 9, and 338): Based on their test rifle there is only an approximate 2-3 dB difference between the Ultra 9 and the 338 with a "hot" 300WM.

    If anything your brake is going to be kicking up more dust and debris than with a suppressor. Although, that is more of an issue for the guys on your left and right. You will have no issues with a suppressor.

    Not at all. While recoil reduction is not as profound as with a high quality brake, it is significant. And depending on the brake you're currently using, the recoil might be softer with a suppressor. But, it all depends on the suppressor/caliber combination.

    I want to provide an update just in case others come across the same timing issue. I backed off the overtravel adjustment (by turning CCW) a little less than 1/8 turn, and now it functions perfectly. Thanks to everyone's feedback and to T-Bone at Timney!

    It’s an “issue” in the sense that it’s not currently functioning properly. But, sounds like it could be straightforward fix. And yes, just got off the phone with T-Bone. Great customer service.

    T-Bone - thank you very much. I literally just submitted an inquiry through your website, but I'll call you shortly. Spife - just pull weight. No other screws have been turned. Trigger was in another action previously (Stiller Tac30) and had no issue and functioned flawlessly for 3K+ rounds...
