    What if you take this scenario and add a unscrupulous dealer working with a LEO buddy? The dealer could drop ship the unit to the LEO then LEO would deliver to dealer for shipment to a buyer.

    I would recommend the same slant, so the day optic and clip on are in line. As for the IMUNS, I had to have my barrel turned down for sufficient clearence. (#7 shilen) There's a pic of my AICS w/the IMUNS in the thread below (givesan idea of needed clearence needed)...

    I have used one and even at 500yards it's beam is too tight for a useful illuminator. Oh, and I can guarantee its stolen. My buddy bought one off (more like rented) and it was promptly confiscated.

    It's been my experience that the newer version(round fire button) has better performance from the illuminator than the earlier version.

    The A2 is a great laser, if you can get one. Do you know which version it is? Is the "fire" button on top of the unit round or rectangular ?

    Re: Typical Noveske accuracy? I don't know if my results are "typical" of Noveske,but I am extremely impressed. I put together a 14.5 inch 300 BLK using a Noveske barrel. The gun shoots sub MOA(100 yds) with my 110gr Barnes TAC TX handload(2450 fps) I only shot a couple of 3 shot groups...
