    Accuracy International Pics

My girls at 3-1/2 and 1 year anniversaries Not much to say-- just stock shooters. If you're going to beat on a stump, might as well use a good hammer! <a href="http://s1360.photobucket.com/user/whiskeybravoftw/media/aianniversary_zps72c725c4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img...

    Gunsmithing Whats your dream lathe

Not my personal experience... Always bashers somewhere in the background... Have the TL-2 and VF-3, absolutely no regrets. Want a better than Haas, go Mazak.

Gunsmithing Hobbyist equipment, 3-1 granite Mil/Lathe/Drill press?

Machine tools are like guns in many ways... You can pretty reliably ring steel at 600 yards using an 03A3 and peep sights ($300) or you could pretty reliably ring steel at 600 yards with an AI-PSR (~$20,000)... I've seen some pretty amazing things done with 'light weight' tools used by someone...

221 fireball in a short barrel

Same here... I've found that after almost 30 years my XP100 .221 is still a slick little combo and not a novelty. Many guns have come and gone but this one still earns its keep. I have thought often of redoing it with an 18" re-barrel and light carbine stock... Good luck.

Maggie’s Simple home remedies that work!!

A mouth wash (gargle) using 3%- 10% hydrogen peroxide (the kind found in most drug stores in a brown bottle -- not the 'industrial/ food grade 35% concentrate) makes a great and almost one day cure for cold sores/ canker sores... Green rubbing alcohol applied as a topical provides almost...

    45-70?

Shot my first deer some 40 years ago with a Ruger #1 & iron sights-- still have the gun and regularly shoot it! Also have an original Springfield trapdoor that I shoot black powder with paper patch slugs from in the local matches. Great vintage caliber that will, like the 30-06, never see full...

    Any regrets going custom?

I don't reply very often in threads, you seem earnest with your inquiry.... After 45 years of shooting everything from hand-me-downs, rack rifles to specialized 'stock issue' M70's and R700's, I don't think that many gunsmiths that can match out the door quality of my 2 Surgeons (.223 & 6.5...

    Accrcy Int'l PSR...pics

Re: Accrcy Int'l PSR...pics My kit was missing the 300wm mags and the balance of the 308 & 338 too. We are not alone! Shoots as good as it looks. I mounted the S&B in factory mount. Zero at 100 meters w/308, switch to .338 (20 minutes the first time reading the manual about 5 minutes to be...
