    Thoughts???

I'll make one special for you lol, actually making a custom bolt knob like that for a rifle build we are doing... We have done flats, strait and spiral fluting but this was just something to do on the end to set them apart.

For those not familiar with the term truck axle, Truck axles are generally larger in diameter with splines on the end hence the reference.

    Thoughts???

Looking to seperate our barreled actions from the crowd now that big barrels are the norm. In early 20 spotting our rifles was easy but now just blend in. Thinking of lasering this a few inches before the crown on all builds going forward and offering the splined fluting as an option at a modest...

that is a good question but when you miss do you wonder if your rifle was a tad more accurate would you have hit it?, doubt is your worst enemy. A lot of people say a 1 moa rifle is all you need which is probably true but I can tell you the top shooters are running the tightest group shooting...

I can slug and mark in a few minutes then measure back the desired length, so ordering 27" blanks is the easiest method for me

The inch is get you out of the area that will generaly be over size from Lapping. Theoretically the tight spot on a rimfire barrel will be at the 1" mark but safest bet is to slug each barrel to know for certain you are cutting and crowing at the optimal spot.

Make a video of a 1" 10 shot group at 200 yards and Phil at MPA will give you 1000.00, we have 5 and 6 shot groups at or or just under an inch but 10 has been hard, usually 1.5" for 10 if it's a calm day
