    What do I do now?

This is not a 'guy' with some tools. This is one of the most well-known custom-rifle and competition companies in the US. It's a company that's been in business for over a decade. This is definitely not a 'friend' relationship. This has been all business so far. You absolutely know this...

    What do I do now?

Read the original post. New barrel was already cut and put on. That was the last step completed. No change in accuracy.

    What do I do now?

The builder is a known shooter and sponsors a shooting team. I've spent about a grand so far on ammo. Almost all of the factory loads were different versions of FGMM in different bullets and weights. I also did a full test-series from McCourt munitions (mentioned in original post) who has a...

    What do I do now?

I am, but it being a shooter problem was definitely a possibility. That's why I was happy when the builder's first group's came back and they were identically bad to mine. It should be noted that builder is a known competitive shooter and sponsors a large competitive shooting team (PRS and...

    What do I do now?

This won't be short, I apologize for that now. July 2019: I plan and commission a no-expense-spared build. Work out details with extremely well-known and respected builder who offers 1/2 MOA guarantee. Manners PRS-1 (my choice) Impact 737R (my choice) Bartlein 20" Heavy Palma in .308 (length...

    Rifle Issue - Update Thread

The issue has already been posted, but the thread title was misleading (it started as a stripped Spuhr screw). It's still not resolved (despite me thinking recently that it was). Anyone wanting to read through the original thread can do so here: Cluster Fudge . But that's 3 full pages...

    Bravo or save for Manners/Foundation

Both are very comfortable. The palm swell on the PRS1 is slightly larger and I have 3XL sized hands, so that's appreciated, but the palm swell on the Bravo is quite nice as well. Both have a nice thumb shelf. Neither requires bedding. Both have integrated barricade stops (Bravo as part of...

    Bravo or save for Manners/Foundation

I bought two stocks within 30 days of each other, a Manners PRS1 for my build, and a Bravo for my son's. I paid 3 times for my PRS1 what we spent on the son's Bravo and the Bravo is the better stock. If I were doing it over again .... Bravo all the way.

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

Aw look, Mr. Buthurtbych needs something to be right about. The only thing upside down is your ego. Enjoy the rest of the your day.

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

Thanks, and no worries. As I alluded in an earlier post, I didn't actually purchase it, Mark did. So I'll leave it to him as far as what he wants to do. If he suggests just changing the brake out, I'll send that email you asked for.

Another one. When you reach the end, you'll realize that you're a tool who should read first before posting.

Ah shucks. Great offer but we found the problem already. Better luck next time

I've posted it in other threads before

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

Mark can make that call if he wants. When I called him about building the rifle, I told him I wanted the most effective brake he knew of, he chose the HellFire and I'm still fine with his decision. I'll bet that if we chop a half inch off this barrel, recrown, rethread, and put the same brake...

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

For those that want to know what it was. I emailed Mark @ SAC back in March, a few hours after coming back from that last range session and discussing things with Andrew McCourt, and about 2 hours before this cluster-fudge of a thread got started. It took him a few days to respond, but when he...

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

    - No, that was you. Read your posts - No, moron on page 1 literally called me poor. Its on the internet, must be true. - No ... more info on that one in a second. - None of your advice was right cause you're a tool. No one else's either with 1 exception but not for the reason he thought...

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

Einstein, You called me an 'a-hole' in your previous post. I love how you're now trying to take the high ground. I said nothing negative to you at all before that. I've said nothing negative to anyone who didn't directly insult me first. And there's a couple of guys who tried a direct insult...

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

Just making sure I cover all of my bases. He was responsible for action, barrel, brake, and chassis. I mounted the scope and removed action from chassis to mount up the rail and bipod. Wanted to make sure I tried enough ammo that he couldn't ask me to try different ammo first before shipping...

    Rifle Scopes Stripped Spuhr Screw

First. I can't twist the scope at all with force, nor is there any movement or perceived play in the scope. As mentioned, after discussing it with the builder, we have a plan of attach to track this down. If the brake ends up not having an effect, next up is scope. If my son's Vortex works...
