    Why the Controversey over Creedmoor 6.5?

    To answer your question, A 6.5 Creedmoor should be just fine for killing folks. A 6.5mm 140gr HPBT going 2800fps muzzle velocity will go through a 2x4 at 1,000yds. I don’t hunt so I can’t say how it reacts on impact with bone but I suspect that penetration is not a problem.

    isn’t the point of buying a pre-fit barrel that you can install it yourself? I would get the few tools you need to do it yourself. Putting on a barrel is really easy.

    I have used it. It shot great out of a 1-8 twist. Should meet your stated accuracy needs out to 500 yds.

    What exactly is your question? is your question how many versions of SAMMI and wildcat cartridges can be made with Lapua brass? I think the answer is that you cannot put a number on it as you are only limited by your imagination.

    Ogive and bullet jump measurement

    agreed. You will not notice a difference in performance out of a rifle chambered in 303 Brit. I use Redding competition seating dies and Sierra/Berger Bullets. Typical seating depth variance is about .001-.004” measuring off the ogive.
