who likes the 300 wsm ?
I have zero ew experience with short barrels either. I have 2 done by LRI, 1 is a proof carbon the other is a ss in rem Varmint that i forgot the brand. both are 24" I just happened to trade into cases of ammo so I've never needed to load for them. I will for this fall though.- jbuck88

It's a fair amount more power then the 30-06. You may be thinking of the 308win, which is a lot closer to the 30-06 then the 300wsm is. It's a lot closer to the old 300h&h. My factory 300wsm ammo is federal TLR which is 200gr at 2836fps. I haven't done a bunch of reloading for it yet. So there...- jbuck88

Finally made it out to shoot it. It's has a slight twang to it with the 6mm Creedmoor. Held decent groups at 300yds and was ok off a tripod.- jbuck88

Factory rifle Accuracy expectations
Need more info. For the most part Factory rifle and Factory ammo I'd be happy with sub moa as long as it was consistent and repeatable with a few different kinds of ammo. If I'm around the 2k mark I'd expect .5-.75 knowing I could do better with hand loads.- jbuck88

New MDT CRBN Stock/Chassis?
Figured throw this up. Just recieved from midwayusa. Overall initial impressions are positive. Only small gripe is the recoil pad is thin and hard. Stock weight was 28.5oz as delivered. Rifle is a Mousingfield 6mmCM with a 22" CF Bartlein. Weighs 8 lb 4 oz as pictured. 1 lb 4oz lighter then...- jbuck88
