I also agree barrel threads must be tweaked I would check the stock barrel will thread back in receiver if so then it must be defective LRI barrel threads
I have a factory RPR .308 barrel with 450 to 500 rounds through it for sale with brake. I switched to a Proof 6.5 I wanted more consistency for shooting out to 1000 yards
How did you find someone that wanted a spare stock WoW that would be the only way I would replace mine. I have found as long as you are the only person shooting the guy once it is adjusted it is ok.
I just bought this Proof barrel on sale for $479 at midway will be shooting it at 1000 yards this weekend I will let you know. I wish I had cum across the price you posted very nice
I was looking into the proof barrel listed above but I was thinking on a 26 and proof does not offer that length. What is you guys thought on 24 or 26 it has to be 50 feet per second faster but will that be a big deal. That is a good price on the Proof at midway
I am wanting to change my RPR 20 inch .308 barrel and with 24 or 26 6.5 and was wondering if I go with prefit proof barrel is it just install with go and no go gauges for head space and then im done. I have also found barrel blanks have to be machined and installed by smith is that correct
I just tried that code and comes up invalid so I added the . after the 12 and it told me it couldn't be applied to anything in my cart. I had the AD cocking piece the TI firing pin and the 419 brake
