    Re: Remington 700 SPS Tactical issues... Mine did the same thing, it'll go away eventually. What I did is get some dummy rounds (4) and practice dry firing and cycle the bolt about 100 times. Now it will just leave a very light scratch every now and then, nothing a tumbler can't fix.
