1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Yeah when it comes to the CDG 223 and flat breach barrels you need to run the bolt with effort, the AI being even more finicky. Even my Long Action 223 runs fine if I run the bolt with a little gusto, granted I’m single feeding it
Even at 2650, 36.7 mils to 2500yds. Still way closer to the 375 than what Doc originally posted, that was my point. It’s not the slouch that Doc originally made it look like. Within the limits of the program the .50 doesn’t stand a chance on recoil force alone, anyone can see that.
Well the main things I was looking to the Element for was the adjustable thumbrest/timer mount, and the LA CIP magwell. For you looking for a SA the magwell would be a nonissue.
Yeah for the price the Ultradyne and the XLR Element are pretty damn close. The XLR has a couple extra features I wish I had gone with, but the lead time was much longer. I was able to make the Ultradyne work regardless
As others mentioned it’s kind of an exercise in futility with a factory barrel vs a custom. It would be a different story if you had two barrels reamed exactly the same, then it would work but that’s likely not the case here…
True, I’m not sure it really matters. Just going off what I typically see with people trying to match the feel of their bigger guns.
The A&J heavy barreled action is $400 more and around a 6 month wait. I’m not going to be shooting serious PRS with it, just a lr trainer and maybe shoot some...
Anyone have a 22lr trainer to complement their CDG? With the CDG feeling closer to a typical 90* throw I was thinking Bergara B14R? Obviously there’s Vudoo/Zermatt but not wanting to go all out on a 22lr yet lol
Thanks guys
