Bag Bullets for MDT, MPA, AI and KRG

Any plans to make one for the XLR chassis, or would the MDT model fit?

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

The one I have in it is just a single shot sled. That’s the one big hiccup with a setup like this, no magazines currently. I found that AI makes a long action .308 mag with a spacer so I’m curious if the feedlips could be adjusted to hold 223

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Exactly, I thought about the concept since I first saw the AI AXMC/DT SRS but didn’t have that kinda money lol. So this is my version of a multical switchbarrel. With the swappable bolt heads and muzzle flats this should work pretty well

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Bought the long action to do a 300WM and eventually a 37XC, but figured the 223 would be a nice training round and I already had ammo for it.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Just tested my LA CDG in a flat breech 223 with a longer 2.45” 75gr ELD round, feeds alright but sometimes hangs up if you run it slow. The general consensus was correct, run it fast and intentionally and it will feed fine. Not gonna say it’s 100% reliable because even time tested platforms have...

    Ultradyne chassis?

I don’t have any experience with the LSS XL but that’s another good choice. I consider it basic because it doesn’t have the added features that most others I was considering had, but the adjustable mag latch is a nice added benefit for sure.

    Ultradyne chassis?

I have the UD7 LA with my CDG sitting in it. Other than not being CIP mag cut from the factory it’s a good basic choice.

    ARC Coup de Grace Builds

CDG LA 20Moa, currently a .22” 223 Rem but also have a 24” 300WM barrel for it. Ultradyne UD7 chassis with XLR TR-2 buttstock. Arken EP5 5-25 Anybody opened up a 3.715” AICS magwell for the 3.850” CIP AICS mags? That’s the only real change I want to make and it sounds as simple as filing 0.135”...

    Tikka T3 Thread

The action length is the same, the difference is the bolt stop. Considering they’re both short action cartridges you should just need a barrel, bolt, and magazine. Complete bolt assembly to change, not just a bolt head.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Yeah it definitely should, 80gr ELD should be a pretty good match with this.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Yes, switch barrel rig is what I’m building with it. Started with a couple take off Savage barrels (22” 223 that’s on it currently, and a 24” LRH 300WM) because I got them cheap, but I’m gonna go shouldered Prefit from now on. 223-37XC on the same platform… sounds damn good to me! The 223 ammo...

What barrel profiles do you use?

Personally Medium Palma would be perfect for my uses, I might go Heavy Palma for a 30”+ ELR barrel though

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Finally got it all together after solving some manufacturing issues with the chassis. As a LA 223Rem it runs better than I thought it would, but you definitely have to put some intention into closing the bolt. All in all it’s pretty much everything I want, and the couple changes I have thought...

    ARC Coup De Grâce question

Just tried it with my .223 barrel (albeit a single shot sled not mag fed). It works fine if you put a little authority behind it, doesn’t have to be fast just can’t run it slow and lazy like. Used a run of the mill lead tipped round at AR mag length which after repeated chambering was a little...
