    I’d like to hear from someone that wasn’t in the top 50 that thinks ancillary equipment is what’s holding them back. Because I doubt some specific piece of gear beyond a better cartridge than my 308 would make me better than just practice.

    Shooting in the wind is what makes a good shooter. Use it and learn it. Also, dry fire...A lot. Just my 2 cents.

    I have a savage stealth and the action, to me, seems sloppy. It took a lot to break in the cocking mechanism where it wouldn't want to roll the rifle over on Bolt lift. And it seems sloppy with the bolt all the way back in my opinion, especially compared to my remington. But it shoots very well...

    Depending on where you are in Ohio look up MALC training. They are giving a fundamentals class in Edinburgh IN, in April. The guy teaching the precision rifle is a really good guy. he was an Army sniper team leader before he got out.
