    I don't think this applies when you are comparing bolt actions to semi auto's. I have been at several suppressor testing sessions and the sound at the ear is much different.

    As much love as I have for DTA, I didn't like my DTA HTI mount. The draw back was the spacer rings. I never felt like I had them spaced correctly, they didn't seem to fit snug, and I just didn't like the gaps. I sold it and bought a AADMount. I think I would have loved it if it was a 30MM...

    Ughhh..... What am I doing wrong? When I switched from my Gen1 to my A1 I went from using the DTA SRS mount and DTA Spacers to the DTA HTI mount and spacers. But when I try and install it all I can tighten the ring tops fully and the spacers don't touch each other an the scope is still loose???

    Here is my Gen1 SRS that was milled to about covert size. I have since sold this one and bought a factory SRS-A1 Covert.

    How's a .338 can sound on a .308? I have mounts on my .338LM and .338BR barrels but I'm considering putting one on my .308 barrel. However, mounts are $300 a pop so I want to make sure it's worth it.

    Well I broke down and bought an SRS-A1 Covert. Now to get rid of my Gen1 and have the extensions swapped out on my 3 barrels. The #1 feature that put me over the edge was the butt pad. I like the cushion and how easy it is to slide over compared to the PITA old style.

    Anyone have a local store with a new or used A1 Covert w/ monopod in stock? Chassis or .308 or .338 would be fine. I think I am going to sell my ATACS Gen1 for one.

    I have two multicam dipped stocks and that for sure isn't multicam. I agree with everyone else that it is painted and was never dipped.

    I think it is a valid argument. What about anti-material/vehicle or to defeat the higher level rifle body armor inside 300yds, what better then a super accurate .338LM? But I do agree that I would opt for at least a 2.5-10x42 scope instead of a red dot. 2.5-10×42 NXS? COMPACT RIFLESCOPE |...

    p.s. yes he got scorned for the booger hook on the trigger. p.s.s. besides the multicam dip, the only other non-factory item on the rifle is the JP forearm. As the previous owner stated "It got sent to fat camp for forearm weight loss".
