1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Does this Primewhere have the capability to measure how thick the primer itself is? Or is the caliper somehow accurate enough for that part of the job?
thank you
I ordered some bullets that are hard to find they happen to have in stock and you know how it is, you can't be too careful these days.
I'll keep them in mind for future as well.
In the video it is said that you should NOT uniform your primer pockets especially with Lapua(or Alpha) since they are very uniform to begin with. OK, well too late for my Lapua brass as I used a K&M pocket uniformer on them all thinking I was doing the right thing. There is no mention of if it...
I enjoyed the video it was informative and thought provoking. I'll probably order one of these someday if I get sick of hand priming. I actually thought about borrowing my father's RCBS bench primer but not sure how accurate those are.
Is gunzdepot a scam ?
Says in stock powder with a $300 minimum
8 pound varget 224$
Sounds too good to be true
I highly doubt it is in stock but who knows
I’d rather deal with trustworthy websites
Are you talking about the case gauge depth micrometer to measure bump using their case gauges? I don’t see how this is different that a comparator on a caliper
So are you asking if it is ok to leave powder in your RCBS for days or weeks? Or an hour or 2?
Always put it back in the sealed container when done reloading. Humidity has a big effect on weight of powder.
that residue looks to me like primer pop with no powder. It happened to me recently and I...
I had an issue with my mdt br mags with my dasher and I solved it by adjusting the spring position on the follower. I simply pushed the spring further into the slot where it is riveted to. I don’t have a three lug Dasher, it is a Tikka.
might be worth a try.
Yep
But I don’t think that makes any difference as the cone shape that goes in there is not effected by that square indent or recess. At least I don’t think it does. Seems to be a slip fit.
there may be some poor machining to that part on yours.
good luck
