    Re: cleaning tech question +1, I use a Dewey rod and Nylon brush also. Stay away from the stainless steel brushes (they are silver and look like they are braided). Most brushes are entwined with aluminum so I really do not think it will damage the crown, being steel is harder than aluminum...
