    Hammer forged

    I was wondering if someone new if there were a difference in how a barrel is machined when using a DI system compared to a piston design I guess what I'm asking is can the same hammer forged barrel be used for eather a piston operated and or DI? thanks

    Re: 6.8 Thanks, I guess I was confused about the caliper.243 working with the AR15 lower receiver. That helps me decide which way to go. I've heard that the 6.8 cal. was desined for a 16" barrel? A S/S barrel sounds like the way to go.
