All In One Drag Bag / Mat, or Separate Bag and Mat?

Most of the time I'm haulin my rifle and shooting kit in a Eberlestock Gunslinger 2 pack and I use the Triad Tactical shooting mat. Triad makes great stuff and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Which state is the most conducive to long range shooting?

Southern Az, between Douglas and Naco. Nice LR areas with plenty of poppers and movers to practice on (just kidding..)

Rifle Scopes Leupold vx6 or Trijicon Tr24 on a Scar17?

Thanks for the update and setting the record straight. A good reason to get some actual hands on time with the optic to see if it will be an issue for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rifle Scopes Leupold vx6 or Trijicon Tr24 on a Scar17?

Hey BigJim - love your optics reviews. By the way, I was told that Leupold addressed this issue around a year ago. Scopes manufactured in 2013 with a "Y" at the end of the serial number have the updated illumination and users of the new updated illumination system report problem solved.

Rifle Scopes Leupold vx6 or Trijicon Tr24 on a Scar17?

I have a SCAR 17 and saving up to get the Lupy Mk6 1-6. I think its an ideal optic for the platform.

I tried multiple variations of search criteria to find Jake's thread for the 2014 JC Steel Challenge and can't find it either. Was it deleted? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Fieldcraft How to carry heavy barreled beast

Eberlestock Gunslinger 2. Awesome pack and has tons of molle webbing on the sides and back so you can also add extra modular storage pouches if you like. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Moving to a AUTO PROGRESSIVE.... Need Help/Advice

I have no experience with the RCBS AP press but my impression is it's not as popular as the Dillons or Hornady AP presses. I use a Hornady Lock-n-Load AP for all my high volume rounds, or non-precision ammo to include (.223, 30-30, .308, .45 ACP). It's fairly simple to setup and I get...

New guy in need of ideas

What will you be shooting at past 1000 yards (hunting, paper punching, competitions)? The 300 Win Mag you are considering is a very good option but there are many other calibers that are more ballistically efficient and can get you there with less recoil and would be cheaper to reload (allowing...

    Rifle Scopes millet tactical scope

I have one that was originally put on a .308 hunting rig but has since been relegated to my Ruger 10/22. Although it may retail for $500 it definitely does not compete that well for that price point. I would consider $150-$175 a fair price and should set your expectations accordingly. Biggest...
