Travis says he's about a month out from having my new rifle ready (6.5x47 Lapua).... Not going to go nuts just yet on creating loads. I'm going to load up some ladder test rounds so I can take the rifle to my local range the same day I get the rifle from Rbros. I'll post up pictures on the Hide...

I've lined up an XRS as a new scope purchase. Posting here so I can reference back as I'm sure I may have the same zero stop question down the line.

WOOOAAA Talk about being on the wrong side of a barrel! OUCH!

Thanks for our hide experts for putting out the good intel on this. I stand corrected. So the consensus then is that the video is legit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WOOOAAA Talk about being on the wrong side of a barrel! OUCH!

Sabot rounds travel close to 4000 FPS while HEAT rounds are a bit slower at around 2000 FPS. In either case they are going so fast you wouldn't see them coming, particularly at that close range. Also tank barrels have rifling to stabilize the projectiles and make them hit accurately. The video...

Rifle Scopes HELP ME! S&B 3-20 or 5-25 details in thread

I have an HDMR 3.5-21 with the H59 on a 6.5 Grendel, great scope and I like the reticle so much that I just bought a 5-25 S&B with a H59 reticle for my new 6.5x47.

Rifle Scopes I'm so tired of Butler Creek

I just spent $3700 on a new S&B scope and second time out to the range with the scope, both front and rear caps broke off. I was pissed to the say the least. I am annoyed that S&B continues to use Butler Creek caps on their scopes. It's second tier brand on a top tier scope. In my opinion it...

It was late in the evening so probably not my most creative ideas, but thought I'd throw this out here for Jake. Can't wait to see the new shoot house come together. Note that it's not drawn to scale.

Happy B-Day! I WOULD have sent your way either a used Remi 700 SA synthetic stock in black, or a Used Remi 700 LA stock in Walnut. Your choice.
