Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Caps Scope Request/Measurement Thread

Yes and No....BC's lever is tangent to the diameter whereas this one sticks out axially. Perhaps the question is not whether it will or will not get caught on something, but do we really need the little red button at all?

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Caps Scope Request/Measurement Thread

Am I the only one who is seeing the red lever on the eyepiece getting snagged on something and being ripped off? I'm guessing it's not bottom dead center because of being used on gas guns?

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Caps Scope Request/Measurement Thread

Would like to see some pics of what you're testing. I haven't had any failures with my BC's but that's not to say it won't happen and it's nice to know there will possibly be a better alternative. I can get you the OD's for the Steiner 5-25x sometime tomorrow...if someone doesn't provide it...

    Safe Shelf Upgrade

Just to be clear, I'm not worried about the shelf sagging....yet. Actually the shelves have two ribs running the length, so it should take a lot to make them sag. What I'm worried about are the clips on each side supporting the whole shelf. They seem very cheap and I've already bent a couple...

    Safe Shelf Upgrade

I'm not impressed with the clips that go in the tracks to support the shelves. My safe is 42" wide, so that's a wide shelf and I'd like to be able to put some weight on the shelf without fear of those little clips bending/failing. Without actually rebuilding the interior, does anyone know of a...

    AccuShot MonoPod for AI AX

I have an accu-shot monopod but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the butt-spike. As nice as the Accu-shot is, it takes up some real estate and when deployed (NOT extended) it already has the butt elevated a good bit, see pic above. What I like about the butt-spike is that it's...

Rifle Scopes High End Tactical, Part IV: The Heavyweights

Not trying to get flamed but curious if Ilya can chime in on when he thinks he will be finished. As of today, it's been 1 year, 1 month and 1 day since he created this thread and I am just really looking forward to reading it. Also, does anyone not know how to subscribe. All these "tags"...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Other than Vette447 (I sent him a PM), who else has just recently ordered/received the SRS A1? I'm interested to purchase and want to know which Hide vendor is working best with members? I had contacted Oakland Tactical and EuroOptic. Please PM who I need to make actual contact with if I...

    Rifle Scopes Steiner 5-25x56

Trust me, you'd know if you have the upgrade or not. Audible is only part of it, the real complaint for me is them being mushy.

Rifle Scopes FFP scope above 25X

I must warn you.....even if you don't like what the 8x does to the reticle, just about everything else about the March scope will probably win you over, one feature being how small it is. Now I just got this and recently sighted it in so I don't have much time behind it but the turret clicks...

Rifle Scopes FFP scope above 25X

Exaclty what Haroldwilson said. I have the Steiner with MSR reticle and really like it. I don't think it gets too big but it is noticeably thicker than my SS 5-20...because the SS is getting 4x thicker and the Steiner is getting 5x thicker. BUT you really want to talk about getting thicker...

Whiskey 3 or Cadex chassis for .308?

As previously stated, make sure you consider that the Cadex folds to the right side/encapsulates the bolt. As much as I REALLY like the Cadex and that would be my choice, it may limit the size/style bolt knob you can use???

    The new XLR folding attachment

Well....not really. You have to loosen two screws which in turn loosen the threaded portion from the mechanism itself. After I did this, I could thread it to where the folder was positioned correctly, then tighten the two screws to lock it up tight to the chassis. Fortunately, Kyle was...

Anyone order this for their XLR chassis and can tell me how it is supposed to lock up tight to the chassis?

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell SMRS 1-8.5x....anyone?

Anyone bought this optic and have anything to say about it? I'm trying to research it and have found nothing. It's between this and the IOR Trident?....From what I read, I think the Bushnell wins but is it a win for how much more it is?
