1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Has anyone received one? I ordered 3 about 6 weeks ago. Received a “shipping notice”, but the tracking simply indicates a shipping label was created. Nothing has arrived. Tried reaching out to OP who indicated that he’d ship another set, but still haven’t received anything. Reached out again...
In clip-on world, EOTech ClipIR-LR would get you to 500 yards. ELR certainly would. Depends on your budget though. Steiner C35 work well for the budget conscious.
N-Vision XRF or X-50 are both good options for dedicated thermal scopes. Guess Infiniray has a few nice options and another one...
It’s a beast. 20” barrel. Built by Jon Beanland. My cape buffalo made it about 30 feet and fell over. Moose, eland and most everything else dropped where they were. Even went completely through a water buffalo at 250 yards.
My point was the ZCO thread has been post after post about the need for a 2-16x scope. If you look at this 1.5-15x March, it checks every box that people having been asking to see in a scope. It’s as if someone from March has been following that thread and produced the absolute bee’s knees scope...
Can’t wait to replace the disaster covers on the LR and ELR. One of the straps broke on the LR. EOTech customer service was less than helpful. “A replacement part will be available to purchase at some point in the future” was the response I received. It‘s a brand new unit! So much for a 10 year...
If they pull this scope off without significant optical issues, I’ll own several. It will fill what I consider a HUGE hole in the market. Heck, it looks like they have been reading the ZCO 2-16 thread…
You should reach out to Jay at Sure Shot @Surgeon_Shooter to see if he has something to trade for the PVS30 and 14. Felipe at @Eliteuas might be able to help you move your stuff and get into a DTNVS or similar too. I’ve done business with both of them and recommend them.
I’d agree with the...
I bought 2 XRFs about 6 weeks ago. 1 lasted about 30 seconds and completely died. Had to send it back for repair. I expected a replacement as opposed to repairing this new defective unit. They “repaired“ it and returned it over 2+ weeks later. I didn’t trust a repaired unit and sold both of...
I have one that I have taken out to compare, but ended up trading for a ClipIR-LR and purchasing a ClipIR-ELR. Don’t need it now. I’ll sell it for what I paid. Will PM you the receipt. It’s packaged in the box just like I received it.
I might have one. I saw it in the barn a couple weeks ago. The box with it has been moved. I’ll try to find it and measure it to make sure its short action. I bought it for a 308 that I got from my uncle’s estate years ago. That rifle ended up being LA (even though it was a factory 308). So...
What he’s saying is if you wrap the tube in 1 mm stock, you have 2 mm of aluminum. There would be one layer on each side of the 34 mm rings (top and bottom), so you’d have 32 mm of room. You need 0.5 mm stock to wrap it to move from 34 to 33.
Not trying to hijack this thread, but I own this unit now and would consider selling it for the right price as I just acquired a ELR. I don’t really need both.
Rarely for me. If I’m right next to someone shooting with a big muzzle brake on a magnum rifle, I might put muffs on, but 99% of the time, my custom plugs are more than adequate.
Jay at SureShot is a great guy. He’ll give you good advice. If he has a PVS-27, he’ll take care of you. If not, watch the for sale section. You will see green ones occasionally. You can get one and send to Jay.
