    .416, .338, .50 Cal...Inexpensive Option to shoot?

Re: .416, .338, .50 Cal...Inexpensive Option to shoot? I have a 338 and a 50BMG. I shoot the 338 quite often. The Barrett stays parked in the safe. Most of my points against the 50BMG as far as price were noted above. Only other thing that I'll add is that my Barrett is like shooting a...

*Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle *

Re: *Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle Reportedly there are 8 more rifles completed and being sent. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear mine is one of them... I guess we'll see in the next few days if that report is true. Hopefully this is good news for the rest of us too. CWJ

*Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle *

Re: *Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle I'm not sure about funny, but I know it's sad... And frustrating... It appears that those three got their rifles via force. I'm going to hold off from legal action until first of the year. If I don't receive word by then, I may start down...

*Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle *

Re: *Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle Hopefully the "early adopters" will give George a chance to work out the bugs and the rest of us will get rifles that work well from the start. I could definitely be in a worse position. He only has half of my money. Congrats to the guys...

Re: *Announcing the 2009 Sniper's Hide Build Rifle So which numbers have been delivered? If I can ask that? Also, are we accounting for all 15? (Think only 15 of 25 were sold) I haven't been able to figure who's a buyer and who's a looker in this thread. BTW, I have number 10 on order...

Best choice for long action build..280 ack??

Re: Best choice for long action build..280 ack?? I was interested in building a long action 7mm (or close) round. I spoke with George Gardner at GAP about it. He recommended a 284. He said you could push the bigger 7 mm bullets faster and recommended I go that route. You might consider it. CWJ

Hunting & Fishing North Texas Outfitters hunt

Had a great weekend hunting at North Texas Outfitters with my girlfriend. I shot an addax and red stag. She shot an axis deer and sika doe. If anyone is interested in exotic game hunting, I'd highly recommend them. Chris was a great guide. My girlfriend is new to hunting, but Chris was very...

    Rifle Scopes Premier Reticles

Re: Premier Reticles From a structural standpoint, I think they are as good as S&B, and better than USO. I like the ergonomics of the Premier scopes more. The glass is on par with S&B. The XR reticle is my favorite reticle. The big knock on Premier seems to be their approach to people. They...
