I was just at a lil gun store and they had sierra 85gr varminter for $16 a 100. Have any one tried these, thought. they might be good for yote or ground hog

I am pretty new to reloading so any suggestions will be welcome. Im gona try factory recipe. H4350 140 amax fed 210 primers. Start out at 41grn. I dont have a chrono yet so I'm gona just work up and see what groups best. Once i get better i will try other bullets and powders.

Hoyt ruckus, its what my wife started out with shot very good and i think with payed 250 and that was bow, rest, sight, release, and half dozen arrows
I have warne steel rings. I was about to to order a steel tps 20 moa base, but it was on backorder till march. So will steel rings be ok on an aluminum base?
Gona order my stock this week and want opinions on which to get, it is gona be for hunting and targets. Just not sure if i need the adjustable cheek piece?
I changed out the main spring with that of an ink pen on my marlin 17. It feels 10x better, i dont have my gauge with me, but im guessing its about 1.5-2 lbs. I cant wait to get a chance to shoots some rounds.
