    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Really hunkered down, tried to time the mirage and wind and get a 5 shot group in. I'd say wind and mirage still accounted for a half inch of this group size. I think it'll be a hammer in the right conditions. I just hope the bolt starts to free up!

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I won't pass judgment on the rifles accuracy as I'm rusty, and wind and mirage today were terrible. But here's the first 9 rounds down the tube. Bolt still binds a bit and closing the bolt takes a good bit of forward pressure, as though the locking lugs need breaking in also.

You'll like the Lone Peak. I have a Fuzion Ti for my 6.5prc

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Are you speaking of the bolt lift effort needed to re- cock the firing pin? So far, I've found that to be rather impressive for the price point.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

No. You're not. But I am confident this is a break in issue. Get the bolt cycling well and then clean it all up and run a dry lube.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Yeah, tried without magazine. Same. It locks up immediately. Just cycled it 50 times or so and it's already getting easier. I don't think it will be an issue, but as you said, it was quite concerning as a first impression.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Picked mine up today. Overall pretty decent, but if the bolt doesn't free up, like, quickly, it can't even begin to be used as a PRS rifle. It binds to the point of locking up if you attempt to put it into battery using the bolt knob. I mean, 50lbs of force won't let it go forward. Ima practice...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I watched one of the few videos on this HIT and in one of them the guy pulled a sheet of paper with a proof grouping from the case. Those that have received theirs, did you receive a proof grouping?

I usually pad the rest to reduce heartbeat oscillation.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Well, since I didn't even know it came with anything resembling a gun case, even a crappy one is a bonus! Thanks for the initial impression thoughts. My ph2 action was tight as well. Although I never got to really break it in, it did start freeing up rather quickly. Put a little tetra grease on...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Yeah, I like a MUCH lighter pull than that, but I don't want to screw with anything before I test out of the box accuracy. No brake or can, either.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

For the very few that already have them, is the trigger pull adjustable without disassembling the action from the chassis?

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Keeping mine simple. Seekins rings and PST gen II. Might try to shoot it next weekend if it shows up before Friday!

I can. I just got shipping notification from Eurooptic! Guess I better find a scope.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Just got a response from Eurooptic about ship date. They said they have no estimate on ship date. Let the wait begin, I guess. I started looking at other rifles, but nothing has the same value, conceptually.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I just emailed Eurooptic about delivery timeframe on my order. I really wasn't expecting it to be more than a few weeks, maybe a month.
  17. B

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Hmmm. I hope it's not 3-4 months for me!

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I pulled the trigger on a 6CM FDE, ordered through Eurooptic. Says backordered on their site but in stock at seekins site. Slightly better price at Eurooptic soI hope I don't have to wait too long. Every time I go to a gun shop I see 6 creed ammo in stock in bulk. I reload for my other rifles...

    Night Stalker Shooting Tripod

Anyone that has ordered the Night stalker, did it actually take 6 weeks? The website says "in stock - allow 4-6 weeks for delivery", so why 6 weeks? Even if it is coming from overseas it shouldn't take that long.

Dried, Powdered Unicorn Spunk in stock: 8lb Reloder 26 at Grafs

Bruno's doesn't even have it on their website anymore. There's a category called "Reloder 26" in the drop down, but it goes to a blank page???
