Savage 308, RL17, 200 SMK results
I've been working up a new load in a new rifle. It's a Savage 10FCP HS Precision 308 w/ a SS 16x op top. I've got some Win brass, CCI primers, and a jug of Reloder 17. I want to set it up for long range paper punching. Decided to start out with some 200gr Matchkings at .010" off the lands...- GJgo

Re: The on-going debate between neck and FL sizing Anyone that has a runout gauge and both types of dies should check this out- I was suprised. My Savage 308 chamber produces fired brass with a neck runout of about .001". When I FL size this brass with my RCBS FL sizer w/o the expander ball...- GJgo

Re: 308, RL17- What bullet weights will work? Thanks guys. So some have tried Matchkings, and some have tried Bergers with success. I have yet to read anything where someone has tried out the 200gr Accubond- I've had lots of luck with that bullet in other rifles. This pretty much reflects...- GJgo

Hey guys, this is my first post although I've been lurking here for a while. I usualy post over at THR but for this question I'm pretty sure their heads would explode and I wouldn't get a real answer. I have a big jug of Reloder 17 from a failed 270 WSM effort. This was kind of the impetus...- GJgo
