    308 AR10 Build Info/Picture Thread

    Still a work in progress, just aero upper/lower, prs gen 3, trigger tech for trigger, jp bolt, lmos carrier, silent capture spring, sentry 8 gas block, nos proof 22 plus 2. Caliber is 260, basically its what caliber I shoot, so I went with it, kac and asc mags help with coal. Showing some promise.

    I have an Osti made bns-22, from this forum the BNS is made by OSTI for Night Vision Depot right along side the PVS-22. The BNS has the same ratings as the PVS 22 for everything but the tube. Safe to use on a semi 260, only ever use it with my 556 rifles in the past.

    The outback is both narrower and longer, yes the hole spacing is correct. My other rear mount is handfiled to fit the nuts

    Mentioned earlier in the postings about the Cloward made rear sight base, had previously gotten one many years ago from Outback but quickly discarded it as dimensions were off. Afew pic, Clowards version, the outback and obviously original wb490.

    Those Cloward rear bases are very like the ones Outback used to make, a good alternative if you can't get a wb490, Steve Earle made one as well which was very close to the wb490 dimensions.

    The ard is nsn 6650-01-456-6515, obviously dual threaded and about 50mm. The EMA is nsn 1240-01-380-6326. I believe cage code 2f18.
