    Re: Kimber Government They don't come with the Redfield Palma model sight, but one made by some Australian company, if I recall correctly. They mount on a groove milled into the top of the receiver.

    40X barreled receiver???

    Re: 40X barreled receiver??? The general consensus is it will cost a LOT to get up and running with just the barrelled receiver. It doesn't come with anything but the receiver and barrel. The bolt is spendy....at least $200. The trigger you have would work though, but you will need a bunch...

    Re: Need To Find A Feed Ramp For A Rem. 40-x Action. Out of curiosity, have you checked with Remington directly? I know they were reported to be a bit hostel with guys looking for replacement bolts when the CMP sold off a quantity of boltless actions, but they may help with that part.

    40-X One piece Base

    Re: 40-X One piece Base I just got a used Leupold base and rings for the Remington 700 short action (at least that's what I was told they are) and this is how it fit on my 40X non-B action. You can see the gap pretty good. So I take it I just need the Leupold base that is for a 722 action...
