Maggie’s People with guns and ammo will determine the value of everything post apocalypse.

I suggest anyone who hasn't read or seen the movie "The Road" both are good in my opinion. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Road As @sirhrmechanic posted earlier, you need to face reality by putting all illusions aside about bugging out and surviving whatever is ahead of us. Obviously...

Sub, Compact, Utility, 4x4, tractors - advice needed

@steve123 glad you found a good deal. I've been a happy user of a Bobcat skid steer. Blower attachment and blade for snow removal. Root grapple, forks, and bucket for the Summer stuff. But this is the first time in 16 years I wish I had something bigger, like this... Like you, this has...

    Falsely accused & pissed

You did the right thing by filing a complaint with the Public Utilities Commission, or in your case Public Service Commission. I'm not defending the company who's responsible for repairing street lights, and if it is the "Electric Power Entity" in your area, I'll just mention that as with many...

PRS Talk Competition belt, battle belt?

I wonder what hoops you guys wearing only belts have to jump through when dealing with stupid rules concerning tripods? Lots of matches who hate those who use tripods, now are saying the tripod has to be collapsed and attached to the pack. I've asked some MDs the question of what if you're not...

Who's bought a car recently? (Last 30 days or less)

The best part of an old vehicle, Hi-Tech equipment like a power antenna, can be troubleshot without an online service manual and laptop computer.

    Inflation.......... ?

Shipping i.e. USPS/FedEx/UPS have all slowed down. Initial Tracking is always wrong, with many delays. USPS is getting so bad that Congress and Senators are pinging the Post Master General, who is just brushing it off.

    Rifle Mounted Range Finder

If you're on a budget, but willing to spend money on a variable Unknown Made in China product, it might work for you? I was one of those who paid close to $1K for a SWR Radius. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, as it worked well under ideal conditions, but that was less often than not...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

Unfortunately, I think Sutherland's is a failing company, they've closed most of their stores local to me. I remember shopping exclusively with them for electrical supplies because they had better prices than most other's, and at the time they were the only ones outside of exclusive electric...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

Yeah, Speaking of unistrut, I couldn't find any in stainless steel locally. Lot of dealers offered to special order it, except no-name brand stuff that was probably made in China. Trying to go through official unistrut dealership was just going nowhere. Ended up ordering it from a big...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

I know it's a regional thing, but more and more homes are coming on the market here in my area (Rocky Mountain West), but they're still priced as if it was late 2021. I think people are realizing they got in over their heads, and are having second thoughts of living the dream in the mountains...

Who's bought a car recently? (Last 30 days or less)

There is nothing new that interests me right now, or at least offered in the USA. I'm going in the opposite direction and looking for stuff made in the 80's and 90's by Toyota. Having something that you don't need a computer to trouble shoot a problem is becoming more appealing as time goes on.

SITREP: Update 2/18 - Major War Confirmed Imminent

You know, this could have all been avoided if back in January of 2022, we deployed a bunch of troops, tanks, aircraft, etc. to Ukraine for an "Exercise" just like Russia was supposedly doing at that time in Belarus.

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

Yeah, I've been seeing this pattern here locally. Walmart - no engine oil on the shelf other than some odd viscosities, that few use. Not much better selection at the auto parts stores, who are traditionally 20% higher priced. Less and less choices for oil/air filters for popular models...

    Inflation.......... ?

Went in and paid my property taxes yesterday. Between building on it (improvements) which doubled my taxes, and value increases from COVID-19, I'll see even higher taxes next year. My opinion, the essentials for living such as shelter, heat, and food should not be taxed.

    Firearms Keeping

In your original post, you say"Each, now banned", so that's what I was asking about? I understand limited runs, are sometimes truly limited, sometimes they do get made again. Either way, it would be nice to have one of these.

    Selling Stuff for a Gunsmith

Load Development Blocks. Made with short-fat 6BR based cartridges in mind, but work equally well from 6mm CM to 308Win. They have silicone rubber feet, and are stackable. Innovative and ergonomic finger groove on outside edge helps in picking up the tray. I designed these myself, and an...
