Re: 243 short barrel powder?
I've used H4831 and H4350 in my 243s, including a 22 incher. The H4350 loads were faster in all the rifles using 107 SMKs.
Re: 243 8 twist vs 6x47 Lapua
I went 243 for some of the above reasons. I'm getting excellent accuracy (.5moa or better) through 3 of them with all of the loads I've tried using the 107 smk and the DTACs. One thing to think about is that the theoretical barrel life advantage of the 6x47...
Re: Second Focal plane for hold overs?
If you really want to make half power with SFP scopes work, you have to practice with it a lot. And you have to be on the ball all the time while competing. There are some other little tricks that can be done to manipulate things, but again, it takes...
Re: Looking for the 243Win experts...
I've used 43.5gr of H4831 and 41.0gr of H4350 with 115 DTACs. Also 44gr of H4831 and 41.5 of H4350 with 107 SMKs. All have shot around or under .5 MOA through 3 different rifles.
Re: Surgeon Rifles vs. GA Precision, Only Owners
Don't want to get involved with the drama, but I won a GAP hunting type rifle with a light palma 22" barrel and lightweight stock. I don't know what type of 243 reamer they use but the rifle is a goddammed hammer. It shoots as well or better...
Re: P90X
I've been on and off P90x for the last couple years, rotating it with some strength routines. Its a great system. Just push play, follow along, push yourself, and results come.

Re: Which Nightforce Reticle do you like. Need Input
For the Sacto LR matches, the 5.5-22 would be great. For their steel matches, the 3.5-15 would be better. For multiple target/distance engagements, I like my 3.5-15 over my 5.5-22.
Re: PICS Taking the IOR 6-24 FFP plunge
I hope the reliability issues are in the past as this looks like a nice scope for the money. Other than the reticle being too chunky, and the illumination being limited to the center, it seems that it might be a winner. Hope to see you soon Steve...

+1. Throw them in the tumbler for 30 minutes afterwards. Done.
Re: if i found 2k to spend...
In that price range, given your requirements, the NF 2.5-10x32 or the F1 would be nice. So often, we correlate price with quality. Sometimes, thats not the way it is.
