Night Vision A great example of a smart Alpha Sow! Viewed with thermal.

Normally I take out the lead sow to cause confusion in the group resulting in more kills. I have wiped out many sounders using that tactic. This was a special exception to the rule since I'm having guest over and I wanted them to have something to shoot at! These hogs were leaving 40,000...

Hunting & Fishing What hogs and other animals hear from suppressed rifles. Video

(Was not sure where to post this so put it in the hunting and suppressor sections***) Did a little test to show you all what hogs and other animals hear from suppressed rifles, I did hits and misses. This shows you even with the quietest subsonic caliber a hit is loud enough to send the...

Suppressors What hogs and other animals hear from suppressed rifles. Video

Did a little test to show you all what hogs and other animals hear from suppressed rifles, I did hits and misses. This shows you even with the quietest subsonic caliber a hit is loud enough to send the other hogs running. Even though suppressors are not movie quiet and you can not take out an...

Night Vision A great example of a smart Alpha Sow! Viewed with thermal.

Yes that's why I started writing in the forums, making videos, and posting pic's. When I was looking into night vision, thermal, and suppressors for hunting there just was not much info out there.

Night Vision A great example of a smart Alpha Sow! Viewed with thermal.

Thanks! Got some good videos this weekend also 14 hogs down. Somehow The dvr did not record for the 5 killed last night but at least I got some of it recorded. I'll do my best to answer your questions. Here pretty soon I'm going hunting with people using other thermals so I can give a...

Night Vision A great example of a smart Alpha Sow! Viewed with thermal.

It's just the standard W1000-9 no magnifier it has fixed 3.4 lens or something close to that. If anything a little resolution is lost while uploading to YouTube when you look through the actual scope it looks just as good or better. Only difference is the green filter to preserve your night...

Night Vision Lone Coyote Kill 177.6 yards at night.

I got mine at Ident markings, it's my understanding that Ident, Mod Armory, and I^2 technologies bought the entire program from Raytheon. It came with a year warranty and they have all the spare parts.

This one was only $5k and change but that's still a chunk.

Oh if it was not for my guest coming next weekend there would have been many more dead piggys.

In this video I had seen this sounder several times but the alpha sow was smart. She used cows for cover every time they left the high grass. Her weakness was crossing the private ranch road in the same spot every time. DON'T FORGET TO WATCH IN HD. http://youtu.be/w4-FbZA8BPk

Have not called in a year, I spot and stalk them. But it is funny you say that was going to call that night and my foxpro wouldn't turn on. This ranch is fairly large, and as you can see wide open once the grass is low again its easy to spot them.

It can really see far out there that's for sure. I always tried to get within 50 yards at night before, now I'm taking more shots at 100 yards plus. But I still like to take the shot within 100 if possible.

Hell I know all you guys are 1000+ yard shooters so this is close for y'all, but I've been spoiled with close up hogs for the last couple of years. This guy seemed a long way out there to me I really thought over 200 until I lasered him the next day.

Night Vision Short video showing animals at known ranges using the W1000-9

I forgot to add in the video the farthest cows in the right corner next to the tree line are 2362 yards.

Night Vision Another boar with thermal.

The grass was super high again this weekend, so I found a hilltop where I cold look down into the fields and spot the hogs. Houdini first showed up in the field following the fence line that paralleled in front of me. Right as he was entering my kill zone he just vanished! After seeing...
