Rifle Scopes Who's really making what for who!?

One thing to consider is even when two different brands come out of the same OEM, that does not mean they are at the same quality level. Each company will give specs to be followed. I would not assume those specs will be the same from company to company, even though they comes from the same...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell DMR or Burris XTR II

I am using the Burris 8-40 XTR-II currently and really like it. I have had only two short shooting sessions with it, with a long session out to 1K and beyond planned for next week. It is on my F-Open gun right now. So far I really like it. Never used the Bushnell.

Rifle Scopes Sightron SIII ffp or vortex viper ffp or burris xtr ffp?

I have multiple SFP Sightorn S-III's in 6-24 and 8-32 and have all been great. I have even run the 6-24 on a 375 Chey-Tac. All companies are going to have problems. CS is what determines my return usage. I am using the Burris 8-40 XTR-II currently and really like it. I have had only two...

Rifle Scopes Scope market inside scoop...

Really interested in a functional MOA reticle when the longer range options take place. One that can be used quickly without having to count lines or only listed every 5 or 10 MOA. Curious to see the finished project

Rifle Scopes How's that Burris XTR-II working Out ?

You could say it found me. I haven't done comparisons yet. I really like the glass, the reticle, the turrets, etc. I am going to have a real good sense of it after using it in the field from out to 1k+ on my F-Open rig. I will be using it for prairie dogs out to and past 2K. I have a number...

    F T/R Competition 1000 yards w/ 20" barrel?

Enjoyable thread for sure. Wished I had more time to play in F-Class. Denys, thank you for taking the time to get others started. I shot my first F-class match last August in Raton, and had a great time and met a lot of great people. Plan to make the Nationals in October this year. To the...

Rifle Scopes 1st time using my Burris Eliminator III to 1K

I was able to go out and shoot with a couple from church yesterday. He shoots a factory Remmy 300 RUM, and is still relatively new to LR. His wife hadn't shot a centerfire rifle, but was interested in LR shooting. For about a half hour I did a little coaching at the house working on basics. Her...

I have been out a few mornings this week hunting Mule Deer. Yep, I feel good enough to be out hunting-It is about time! Been fighting a bad case of shingles. It is not hard hunting, but at least I am out some. Passed up on several bucks many would shoot, but I am looking for a mature buck...

Rifle Scopes 1st time using my Burris Eliminator III to 1K

At our annual Church Steel Shoot I had a college girl use my 6.5x47L with the E-3 and she took 3rd place out of 17 shooters with it, and then a couple of days later before we picked up the steel, the guys played around at 775 yards. A high school student (Colter) was using the 6.5 with the E-3...

F T/R Competition Worth changing from leupold to sightron?

Yes it is. With my Open rig it is a 3" wide Bigfoot bag. With the Bigfoot bags we can make up to a 3" spacing. Standard Rear bags we already can up to a 1" wide, but haven't made any wider than that though. When I take off the front 2 7/8" front plate and the back plate (Modular stock for...
