Went out this weekend with my brother hunting coyotes with thermal. He was using his 6ARC and I had my 224V with the 55gr GameKing load from above. We ended up killing 10 coyotes. I ended up going with 30.0gr CFE223 and 55gr Sierra GameKings for coyotes. From my 20" barrel I'm around 3400fps depending on temp. Accuracy is acceptable and last fall/winter/spring I killed about 40 coyotes with that combo. A few were with 75gr Federal and a few with 60gr Vmax, but the 55gr...- Wormydog1724

$3500 rifle? Nah. The groups were shot on different days with seating depth and charge weight tests, with and without magnetospeed and a couple groups with the suppressor on, not just the brake as pictured. After seeing this, maybe I need to keep going up with my AA2460 loading. I stopped at 24.0gr and settled on 23.8gr. If I could get closer to 2800fps from an 18" barrel AND keep my groups MOA, that would be a winner for me. Easier said than done I suppose. Something to try tho, thanks.- Wormydog1724

My standard 77gr load is 21.6gr of H322, 20round pmag length COAL, and CCI450 or CCI41. Decent SD's (20's, I mean come on, it's an AR afterall), and good MOA-ish groups. 2740fps or something like it. Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle
