    Remington 700 tac 223 opinions

    My .223 AAC 16.5" is a solid MOA or less gun. And that is shooting 60gr Nosler's loaded on a 1050 Dillon with some cheap bulk brass. With 69 smk's it will bughole. This gun is suppressed 100% of the time. and still has the Tupperware stock. I have not tried it past 300yds. YMMV-Rob

    Brass weight sorting

    I did 600 once and the bell curve always looks the same. Imagine all that brass mixed up,and loaded properly with your best load. Then you just happen to fire the lightest piece and the heaviest piece consecutively. You would be wondering where that vertical came from, and adjust your setting...

    I got it coated and made quick load to get a zero. It is actually 7 shots. Now for a good scrubbing and take to 1K tomorrow. I will have to do a load ladder to get it just right, but I am on the way. Rob

    Well time for an update. I got the barreled action back from Diablo Rifle works/ Freedom Gun works. It looks fantastic. Bobby also installed a little bastard brake on the barrel.     I have the same rifle, but suppressed. It likes 60 gr Noslers and 69SMK's. My first shots were in the 1 inch range. You might have a crown issue. Just a thought. Rob

    All my rifles I do mostly long range with I want at least 20X available. My shorter range guns have 3x15 or equal. I just bought a Vortex 4-16 today for a short barrel .223. It will be a 600 max range gun.YMMV. Rob

    dpms sass 308 vs armalite sass 308

    My Armalite with the national match upper does very well for accuracy. I would say 1 moa to 600 and 2 moa at 1K with 155's. have not tried 175's. I like the 155's. Rob

    It would eliminate the need for moisture absorbent packets. I have seen bulk ammo stored and ruined by moisture. Rob
