man i would think, i guess it depends on the scope but ive got mine mounted well ahead of the charging handle and with my nose touching the charging handle it is just black around the edges. youre talking at least an inch probably closer to 2" behind that. BUT i see plenty mounted that way.- BR7.62

SBR Bolt Rifle
Seems kind of like a novelty item to me. Blackout is OK I've killed a couple deer with 147 gr bullets from a 16" Bolt gun. And it was fun in sbr ar-15 for a while. I think if I was going to go through the trouble i'd use a pistol round and go real short. Maybe just put a stock on a mares leg...- BR7.62

Anyone know anything about F&D Defense?
I've been considering a fd308 lately. Euro optic is local. They only have the 22" version left. And they're on sale. Hesitant to post cause it's purely speculation but my thought was they were just settling off the rest of their f&d inventory.- BR7.62

Scope came today :) 8x Leupold. Some real quick and dirty shooting at lunchtime. I'm really happy with this, I think it's going to be a good shooter. (100 yds cbc 77gr otm)- BR7.62
